It looks like there were some pretty tough teams there Saturday,

 

I wish I could have made it, I can't remember the last time I saw Eddie.

And I've only heard stories of John Hren.  I had heard he might be back around soon.

We only had 7 when we drew it up so we did singles.  Bird came late and filled in to make 8 so that no one had a bye, so it worked out well.

Hey, Sean.. How many total teams?

Uuuuuhhhhhhhh........I want to say 6 both times.  I am not sure because I wrote down last week's and then lost it.  I didn't write down this week's so I had to use the memory bank.

 

In the prior two weeks, there were only enough players to play pick-ups. 

I do not have the results for the DYP, but it appeared that it was a great turnout.  I know that Susan and Sean Roberts both made it out for the DYP and didn't go to the BYP, but I am not sure who else.

The BYP got started roughly on time (especially on a foosballer's clock).  The first set of the finals didn't end until 2:45am (bar kicks you out at 3:00am), so we played one game for the second set.  It was good to see so many out-of-towners as well as to have both Tony and Kelley from Chicago come down (for their first time?) and play some great foosball.  I hope everyone had a save trip home.  I also hope that Ali can make it out next time with Susan, who continues to make fairly regular appearance.  Hahaha.

No tourny this Tuesday (9/2/08), just some friends playin pick-up games.

I did not get any results from Jerry for the past 3 weeks of Tuesday DYPs.  Here are the results from this Saturday.  Thanks to all who made it out.  It was good to have Kurt/Gwen/Daniel from Kentucky drive up.  Kurt, hopefully we see more of you up here and it was nice of you to harass my 5-bar like you did..........hahaha.
