    MEMOREZE game giveaway

Memoreze has been hosting a few events to get the venue kicked off right. Here are the particulars:

Tables are on free play! Yes, there's no better way to invite players out to practice and try out a new establishment than offering unlimited free games. So far, no table fee, beginners and newbies play absolutely free of charge. It has brought a lot of new players out (and back out again) to practice and try to get good. Fridays have been going good for all of February. If we keep that going, we will see an expansion unseen in St Louis for decades. Meaning several machines, bigger potential turnouts and more player-friendly events. Don't let this opportunity get away folks.

Wednesdays I have decided to do the same as Friday with the adds.. Every 5 teams, I add another $50, no limit. The $ will be distributed between singles and doubles according to participation. Same schedule as always, Wednesday is 7PM singles, 8:30 doubles. I know, some of you are thinking, what the heck? Simultaneous tournaments! Well, I just think I offer the right thing to the right group of people, and that mine is slightly superior which should tip the scale in my favor. It might just take a little time to get y'all to see the light. Time will tell I guess. I'm happy either way. Competition is good for growth,

I was planning to do my complete schedule as before with Sundays being a Pro-Am bring, but it is a bit much for me now anyway, and the players in the area of the other venue seem perfectly happy to shell out for that event, so in support of the game I am only inviting players out for some friendly practice and pick-up, per request, until things start to pick up.

I'm not sure what happened to league night? If they are switching nights or venues, we need to hear the soop. I can't think of when there was a better time to be a foosball player in St Louis. We'll turn this place into a pro tour stop once again. Enjoy everybody!

    Clarification of earlier post

I may have been a little vague about my tournaments in the earlier post. I am doing my own thing and am following my tried and proven schedule, Wednesday Friday and Sunday to get some players out for some practice. Sunday is also dart tournaments as well, so if not enough people want to play foos all night, the soft tip dart tournament, a draw, is another possible reason to come out. Hope to see some more people wanting to come join us. I am actively pursuing perspective players for my events. Cal me at 314 546-2333 for more info.

    Hey Rick

All the newer players were gone on spring break.  Erin and Larry were fishing.  Brian B hurt his finger, and where were you?  Next week is going to be big.  It is the league meeting at 5pm and all the regular players will be back.  Next sunday, we will find out exactly how many teams we have and the league specifics.  If the majority of foosball players would should up on a regular basis we would have awesome turnouts every week.  Right now St. Louis only has about 5-10 players that show up on a consistent basis.

    Neil

    Re: HAZZARDS Open DYP 3-9-08

Damn, talk about "when it rains it pours"--no wonder you were wiped out this week. Hope your attendance picks up again soon. So was this Open DYP the new norm, or will you again have Pro-Ams when the freshman class returns?

Sunday was my little girl's 8th B-day, we were busy with her party all day and then dinner afterwards, followed by an 8am conference Monday morning with her counselor to go over her progress (2nd grade). Sorry I couldn't make it.

Besides, my aching back needs a break. I worked damned hard for the last 4 months just to end up an also-ran. By Erin's stat sheet, I guess you could say I was league MVP for what that's worth Party!!! (considering nobody snapped me up to be on their next league team, I guess nothing) ...I'll be in to visit sometime, I just can't say when until my old tired bones stop creaking.

PS tell Brian B. next time I advise him to keep his finger out of... Embarrassed  dangerous places...Wink
