Yes, I kind of agree with you, but aren't
you being a little critical. For all I know this is Robert Ismert's
first time doing a documentary. There not easy to do from what I
understand.
I did like the time line format, but there was a
large portion of the movie given to horton, I guess he wanted
perspective from a person who grew up playing back in the 70's til'
today or at least 2001. I thought horton was a hoot, I hope that guy
has a since of humor, because he comes off crazy. I did like the
background material on Lee Peppared and Johnny Lott. I really enjoyed
the spot with Bob Furr, I wish they had been able to get that interview
with Ed McCloud. The spot with Dave Courington was good.
I
do agree that they didn't end the progression well. Especially, since
there are really some fantastic young players now (Billy, Tony for
example). But. it was just a start. I'm sure someone could take a cue
from this production and make it alot better. Just my 2 cents.
