I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about a new informative site other than www.warriortablesoccer.com. That
site has the IFP meeting in Atlanta and Brendan's updated statement but not much else. They have dangerously
misleading info on the new (non-2003 Tornado-Exacta-Like) table Mary's IFP is slated to use in Kentucky. No place
to order new tables, even the home models supposedly, which Kentucky 08 will be played on. No 30 second video
bytes from Johnny Lott or Brendan or Mary Moore? From even a phonecam for christ's sake?
Everything else on the site is from 2005 or older, and one has to go to YouTube to get info? My 14 year old niece or
my grandma, God rest her soul, could write a better website from scratch! What is going on? Is this the greatest
hoax perpetrated on thousands of foosers?
Brendan doesn't want to sell tables cross-country? I saw the YouTube vids with (fellow filo's?) Trevor, & friends ..
even Evan Stachelek! How do we find this table? Looks like everyone who hasn't got used to the table by Kentucky
Open time, who shoots longs from a rollover or pull, are about to get royally screwed. I'm a goalkeeper, but
Tornado's proven that the higher scoring brings young'uns into the sport and maintains excitement (especially
these DragonBallZ newbies who can text pass attempts to their partner), so i wonder why Brendan or Johnny didn't
make the goals the same or slightly wider or beveled to allow more post scores.
Now it seems all one can do at home is put some 1/8" coping on both post sides (shades of Browntop days) and
play with freshly laundered red balls or the white ones you can order to get the feel. And forget those pull throughs
and 3/4 sprays to long from any shot, but back to pumpshots and 7's cut or brushbacks. Anyone have a few
thousand of those browntop copings in some god-forsaken warehouse with American Idol's Randy Jackson's
(Johnson? - from his 2 years with foosersband Journey) picture on the barn door???? Oh and yeah perhaps that
warehouse has some spare solid rods that fit the Tornado bearings? I know several folks years ago converted their
TS's but kept the rods of course. Or just stuff the Tornado rods with some thin rebar and soldering lead and redrill
the holes.
