Kip's February and March DYP/BYP tournaments will be held on the 27th of each month.

Fees:  DYP $11/person, BYP $21/person.  The additonal dollar is for the points race described below.

Times:  DYP @4pm, BYP @8pm

Kip's will now have Tri-State companies sponsoring the end-of-the-month tournaments.  Each sponsor will have a sign/poster hung within Kip's between the two foosball tables for the entire month.  $150-200 of the money paid to the bar from the sponsors will be added to the pot for the BYP.  Kip's will continue to add an additional amount of $$$ for each player that participates in the BYP.  Hopefully this will get more players out.

Also, Kip's will now be having a points race for the end-of-month DYP and BYP.  There will be a pizza and beer party in December and the winners of the points race will receive cash prizes.  Furthermore, the winners of each tournament at the end of each month will receive bracelets.  I will admit, at first I did think that they were lame..........but they became a lot cooler after Dusin and I won ours for the BYP.  I intend on having a collection of them by the end of the year.  The extra $1 for each entry as well as sponsor payments will pay for the bracelets and points winner's prizes.

Does this mean that the total added to the byp is going to be 250-300 depending on the turnout?  Or are you adding some to the dyp too?  All in All it is awesome either way.  Way to go Indy crew!

You guys are doing a great job promoting over there in Indy!  Way to go getting sponsors as well as the bar support for the tournaments.  Also, it is awesome that you are getting the dates out ahead of time so that people can plan their trips! 

I'll see if I can get off work to come out and play sometime this month.  You guys also play on Tuesdays, right?  What is that dealio?  A regular DYP?

Stalker - I agree, very cool.

Kurt - The sponsor $150+ will be added to the BYP.  The normal bar kick-in rules apply on a per-person basis for both the DYP and BYP.....so yes, it is possible to get a $300 kick-in depending on the turnout.

Melissa - Yeah, it must be nice to know WTF we are doing up here more than a week (or a day) in advance!!!   DYP still at 9pm on Tuesday nights.  We hare having bracelets and points race for those tournaments as well (so $6 to play instead of $5 in the past).
